Hi my name is evelyn and I too was born in Guatemela ,la limonada to be exact.I am very moved by this footage I came to the us at age 7 so I don’t remember much but I want to help .I went thru my own hardships feeling like I didn’t fit in because of the language barrier fell into drugs but God saved me and delivered me from a alife of addiction and now I want to share my story. I hope in God I could go back home one day and share my story of how I was broken but now I’m repaired. God bless you

Wow, could definitely feel the intentionality in the film! From the visuals to the audios, it all seemed very well done…and I am definitely no expert! Makes me want to watch it again…AND want to go back to Guatemala to help. Can totally relate to being a critical thinker and not enjoying investing 50%….sometimes it is hard when you are spread thin and just have to learn to let some things go at that though. Will pray for you and Amelia about your direction. God is in control…will be excited to hear where He takes you next!

I’m not sure there are words to describe what you and your beautiful community have come to mean to our family. I am able to talk with my kids about the schools, the teachers, and the children as if we know you all. It is commonplace in our home and our hearts to speak of La Limonada. We feel so blessed to be apart of our sponsor child’s life, he is apart of our family. I thank God that He opened this door for me and my family. We love you Tita!
